Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Word of the Week!

Don't our children say the cutest things?

I love how my boys pronounce certain words in a really unique way. Many of those words have become "normal" words in our home. Words like framember (for remember), frapause (for pause) or brewk (for broke) bring a smile to my face on a regular basis. It makes me kind of sad when they start to correct these pronunciations. Can you relate?

I thought it would be so fun to provide a Word of the Week from one of my readers each Monday. If you would like your child's word to be highlighted, please leave a comment below. Please include the word and the definition. If you want their name, age, and state included, please include that in your post as well.

Every mom needs a moment each day that brings a smile to your face, and I thought this would be a cute way to brighten what is sometimes a hectic or busy day. I know reflecting on what my kids say, certainly makes me smile. I hope it will make you smile too!

Our children are so precious aren't they?

  2. Mason has said recently, "I neckorize that boy from school." (recognize) He just turned 4 in July and speaks well but I enjoy these little words just like you do! :)
