Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Car Wash Fun

There was a nail sticking out of Caleb's insect box. So he went to his toy tool box and got out his toy hammer. Doesn't he look so proud as he works on his project. I love this boy!

Richard brought me these beautiful flowers the other day. Aren't they so pretty!

My white car was starting to look like a dark brown car, so the boys and I washed it the old fashioned way this weekend - with our hands, a hose, and some good ole' soap and a sponge.

Based on the amount of water we used to clean and to spray each other :) I am not sure if I saved the money I was attempting to by not going to the Car Wash, but I sure did have a lot more fun!

5:30am - Today

Earlier this morning, Clay came and got into our bed. Richard moved him to a pallet on the floor, but as you can see, Clay did not remain there. And you can also see, that Caleb decided to join us at some point during the night as well. I moved to the couch :) Not the best sleeping arrangement, but aren't they adorable all snuggled up together. I couldn't pass up this photo opportunity.
I am looking forward to what the rest of this week will hold for us.

As I look upon these few photo's, I cannot help but feel thankful and blessed. I have my health, my home, food on the table, and three precious men in my life that love and adore me and shower me with kisses. Life is not always easy, but if you have someone who cares about you at the end of everyday, life is good! We must never forget that we all have someone even more special than our husbands or our children who is always there for us, our precious Heavenly Father. We are not alone - not ever. God loves you more than anyone in this entire world.

The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness. (Jeremiah 31:3 NASB)
God Bless!
PS
Don't forget to send me your word of the week. I will post a new word next Monday.
