Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

It's been a while

The Binns Boys
My and my little men - sitting by the train tracks

Old Time Steam Engine - Little Rock, AR

Check out those wheels - Chugga Chugga

Castle Time (Can you see Caleb's cute eyes looking through the door?)

Things have been pretty busy around the Binns household, so I haven't had much time to write. Here is a little bit of what we have been up to:
  • Went with Bah Bah Zack to see an old timey steam engine train. the boys loved it! I loved it to.
  • Clay has learned how to snap (softly for now), but he is so proud of himself.
  • We went camping in the backyard - in a downpour. Clay had a blast. Caleb pretty much feel asleep immediately. I was comfy on the cot (thanks Sarah). Richard pretty much was miserable and wet! Thanks for hanging in their honey.
  • Clay took off on his bike all by himself today (5.16.10). This is the first day he hasn't needed assistance to get him started. He has been riding by himself for a while, but had trouble with take off :) I cried. I don't know why. I guess it is because he is one more step closer to being independent.
  • Caleb has really bonded with his alter ego (The Little Kid). This is the child who lives in our house and does all the disobeying. Caleb says, "He is Big", so it couldn't have been him. He says, "Maybe a little kid did it!
  • Clay has finished his first year of soccer. Wow! He is ready to play baseball and basketball now. How will ever keep up.
  • Caleb is getting so big. He loves to show us how strong he is by lifting things over his head. So funny!
  • Caleb just told me a secret, "Mommy, I love you he said." Wonderful!!!
  • Clay and Caleb have started wiping off my kisses. So Sad, but they still find there way into our room almost every night for comfort. love it!!
  • On a personal note: I have finally discovered Twilight. Just watched the first movie last night and I loved it. Going to watch New Moon this week. I have got the Twilight Fever. Go Team Edward!!!!!
  • Richard is doing great and his business is going super. i am so proud of him.

God is so good. I am so thankful for how he takes care of our family.

Good night!
