Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Finally, I have internet again!

I have not had internet for about a week or so. I have been spending a lot of time at Chick-fil-a and Panera. Thank goodness for Free WiFI. However, I much more prefer to be at home when I am checking e-mail, facebook, or blogging.

In my short time of internet deficiency, I learned a couple of key things:

1. I get a lot more housework and laundry done without it.
2. I rely on it a little too much for upcoming activities. Have I forgotten I can use the phone to check on things - meetings, parties, etc?
3. I thought I was pretty good about limiting the time I spent on my pc. But, I think I need to get a better handle on that I really can live without checking it five times a day.
4. With a few minor changes to my usage, I am super glad to have it back!

On to a different topic.

I am so enjoying this lovely weather:
  • The entire family has taken up bike riding. I love it! Bentonville has some super cool trails. You must check them out.
  • Clay and Caleb have gotten so good at riding their bikes. Clay is doing so good with his training wheels being off. I just can't believe how much he enjoys riding.
  • Today, the boys were playing in the sandbox and I heard the cutest thing. Caleb was talking to Clay and he said, "Clay, you are my friend." Then Clay said, "You are my friend too." Isn't that the best. I wish I had that on tape.

Well, got to go to bed now.
