Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

My New Oasis

Mommy's little helpers! - Loving the dirt :)
Laying the foundation! Thanks Richard!
Time to add water! Thanks Caleb.
Getting close
All done! - Yippee!!
My new sitting area and side garden :)
Cuter than the flowers!
The perfect final touch!

What women doesn't want a place to sit and rest and relax.

With the help of my boys, I know have my own little oasis. A place where I can sit, read, and enjoy God's creation - AND enjoy my boys playing in the backyard. This is the most wonderful time of year.

I hope you take a moment to enjoy the beauty God has given us!

Blessings!
Genesis 1:11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
