Wow! What a week we've had in the Binns household. Of course, Richard was traveling when all this happened!
We started the week with both children having a stomach virus-fun! However, it led to a really enjoyable day of cuddle time with my boys which I really enjoyed.
Then, the next day, Clay feel off the bed while asleep and got a knot the size of an egg! Ouch! That lead to late night monitoring to make sure he didn't have a concussion. And of course, this happened two days before picture day. Typical for the Binns Boys.
Oh, just before the week started Clay lost his third tooth! Clay was so excited when the tooth fairy brought him a Mt. Dew, a tooth fairy must. I know, our tooth fairy isn't the healthiest.
As if we didn't need anymore excitement, my dear friend Sarah (who after cleaning up piles of pee and poop I am not sure I will call her my dear friend :), introduced me to a puppy who needed a home.
On Tuesday, we welcomed Taco Binns, a 16 week old Snorkie, who is used to living outside and sees our home as on open bathroom!
Note: Taco is named for the Binns Boys Sunday "Taco" night. How many tacos can you fit in your wallet :)
*He loves the smell of pizza and will do just about anything to get it.
*If you leave any room door open, he WILL pee in that room.
*He likes to "read" the newspaper.
*He loves to "help"with laundry.
*Car line is so much more entertaining with Taco.
*Taco loves to play soccer.
*I make friends so much easier now.
*I can finally go to the dog park :)
*Caleb has such a sweet spot for dogs.
*After years of fearing a pet, I actually like having one.
On Wednesday, Caleb invited Judd to bring a friend day at Taekwondo followed by dinner at chick fil a! I love those silly boys.
Yea, Thursday came! I was so excited to have Richard home. I missed him bunches and I needed his help (did I mention I got a stomach virus on Thursday!) BUT unfortunately he came home not feeling well. He was sick most of Thursday and Friday :(
Can I just say I am really EXCITED about it being the weekend? Even with all the craziness, I am blessed beyond measure to have my precious family-bumps, bruises, barks and all :)
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
