Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Great Time with my Sweetie Pie

Our first time on a Trolley Car! Probably our favorite part of the trip. Its like being on a really slow roller coaster, but with all the excitement and fun. I loved it!
We also loved Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 -
Great shops and beautiful views of the Bay.

Here is Richard buying some souvenirs. What a thoughtful guy!
We ate the best Clam Chowder - a must if you come to visit. We ate it on the Pier at a place called Chowders (I think :)
Aren't we cute on our tandem bike. It took us a few minutes to get the hang of it, but it was so fun riding around the coast line together. Please note: Patience with your spouse is a must if you want to try this :)
Isn't the Golden Gate Amazing!

We have had such a great time on our trip together. The weather has been so nice, although quite windy. If you come, make sure you bring a jacket.

The people have been so nice here and helpful as well. The security guard in Burger Kind (yes, they have a security guard in Burger King), gave us great travel directions. We sure appreciated his help.

I love that you can eat outside in front of the restaurants. I love that you can walk just about wherever you need to go. No wonder everyone in CA is so skinny. This out of shape girl needs to take a few pointers.

I have just enjoyed spending time talking and laughing with Richard. I really recommend taking the time to go on a trip with your spouse if you can. You don't have to spend a lot of money or go very far, but dating your spouse is totally worth the effort.

Although I have had such a great time, I can't wait to hug my little boys.

It has been a great week!
