Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Birthdays, Friends, and Weddings

Baby Luck Turns 1 - Wow!
So adorable.
Don and Pepo - My precious grandparents!
Annual October Birthday's Photo
Myself, my brother DT, my sister-in-law Laura, and my grandmother Don and Luke who share the same bday are all born in the great month of October.
The Purcell Farm
We took a drive out to the farm last Sunday. I hadn't seen it in many years. It was fun to see the beans before they were harvested. I remember seeing the corn farm when I was a little girl. It brought back happy memories.
This is my Mom smelling the dirt. Brock told us that is what we are supposed to do. Not sure why? But, doesn't my Mom look like she knows what she is doing :)
The boys just got their Halloween costumes (borrowed from my friend Sarah). They could not wait to try them on. Aren't they adorable!!
So fun! I got to see my dear friend Stacey, who has the cutest baby belly, on Friday. We graduated from the U of A together and we try to get together at least once a year. It was so nice to see her.
She is such a beautiful girl, inside and out.
Here comes the bride! My friend Shelli got married today. It was such a sweet wedding. Doesn't she look beautiful!
Wasn't her cake beautiful!
What a brilliant idea. Shelli had a children's table at the wedding reception with coloring books and crayons. Isn't that so smart. The boys had such a great time. Shelli's son Austin was Clay's very first friend. Shelli and I went through our pregnancy together. She is such a special person to me.
It has been a great week!
