Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

I love my Parents!

Today was a great day!

Richard went on a 15 mile bike ride (while I was snuggled in my bed). And then, as usual, we headed over to Old Tyme Donuts - on highway 102 towards Centerton. So yummy! Then, my Mom and Dad came into town to see the boys play soccer.

We had so much fun watching Clay and Caleb. Clay's team worked so well together. I love seeing them hug each other on the field. Coach Kate is just awesome - so encouraging. I also loved seeing Caleb play. He is in a program for 3 year olds called, Little Kicksters. They do training drills. It is so fun watching him learn this exciting game. I loved having my parents in town to see them.

We then headed over to McDonalds for lunch. They boys got to pick. They were so happy. I think they would go there several times a week if I would allow it. Not good for the old pocket book or the ol' stomach.

My Dad and Richard then took the boys home to watch the Hogs play and as usual, my dear mothers took me shopping. So fun! I love my new make up and my new clothes. My mom really spoils me. I appreciate her so much!

While we were gone, my dad played with the boys outside and inside. He is so good with them. I love my Dad.

We ended the day at the Park for a Sunday School fellowship. It was so much fun!

I hope you will take time to thank your parents for all they do for you. I also hope you have a great time Sunday morning worshiping the Lord!

Happy Saturday!
