I knew immediately, you had changed my life.
When they placed you in my arms, I knew miracles do come true.
My God had already blessed me with so much, and now he gave me you.
We have shared such happy memories - your first meal, first word, first steps.
I held you when you had your first fever, your first stitches. I held you when you wept.
I have watched you grow and learn your ABC's and 123's.
I watched you ride your first bike and climb your first tree!
I watched you paint a picture and write your beautiful name.
I took you to your first soccer practice and watched you play in your first game.
You are kind, helpful, and caring. You lift me up when I am feeling down.
I am always happiest when you are around.
I pray for your walk with God, your salvation, and for your future wife.
I pray God will be at the center of each and every part of your life.
The time has finally come, to let you spread your wings
I know it is only kindergarten, but to me it is a HUGE thing.
I am so proud of the boy you are, and the boy I know you will become.
I just want to encourage you, to keep your eyes on Jesus - God's one and only son!
