Happy New Year from Optimas Batmen!

What a great time I had on new years! We started off by taking the boys to McDonalds. There were only a couple of kids in the play area, so Clay and Caleb pretty much had the play area to themselves. They had so much fun!! Richard and I really enjoyed watching them play. I really learned this year, that you don't have to have a big party, fireworks, or lots of homemade food to have a wonderful New Year's Eve.

After McDonalds, we stopped by our friend Zach Smith's house. Clay and Caleb once again had a blast. Caleb spent most of the time dancing to Zach's music or jumping on him. Zach was so sweet to my little two year old. Clay spent most of his time tackeling our friend Nathan. I think these guys were probablly really happy when we called it a night around 10pm.

On our way home, we stopped by our church to pray. They had a 12 hour prayer event from 1pm to 1am. It was really neat to be in the church on New Year's Eve praying for my family, friends, and my church. I could not think of a better way to ring in the new year.

We got home, put the kids to bed and Richard and I watched the New York City ball drop.

I am excited to see what 2010 has in store.
