Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Field Trip to the Fire Station

Clay had so much fun on his field trip today. I was so glad I got to go too. Fireman Justin and Fireman Chase did a great job showing the kids the new station and explaining the different parts of the firetrucks. They were so nice to allow the kids to get inside a truck. They also allowed them to look through the infrared camera. So cool! Clay was all smiles.

Fireman are such special people. I am so glad they have such a great new fire station. If you have a moment, say a special pray of thanksgiving and safety for fireman and police officers who work so hard to keep us safe.

    This is so neat!! Next Monday my preschool (2yrs) get to see the fire truck as well here.... It is fire safety month so we are teaching about it, and then they will get a surprise when the fire trucks come!! I am so excited!! Can't wait to come to sunday school when I am back home! 2 weeks!
