Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Support a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis

My friend, Christy, has a daughter Mackenzie with CF. She is doing great, but it is a tough battle. Being a mom of a child who has had many respiratory issues, I know how important it is to find a cure for a disease that makes it so hard for your child to breath.

If you have time,

EAT AT JIMMY JOHN’S on the corner of 8th & Walton in Bentonville on TUESDAY, AUGUST 25th, 10 am to 2pm. Dine In or Carry Out. $1 from your sandwich purchase will support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s NWA GREAT STRIDES Walk.

Most importantly, I would like to encourage you to pray that a cure or this disease would be found in Mackenzie's lifetime.

Thank you.

  1. I will definately try to get over to Jimmy John's next Tuesday! That is great that they are doing it at lunch and giving $1 a sandwich not just a percentage of sales.
