Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Soccer Balls and Back Packs are so Cool!

Clay was so excited about his new soccer ball and goal!!

Clay and Caleb - heading off to school!

Well, I think this was one of Clay's best weekends and Monday's ever!

Richard is coaching Clay's soccer team this fall. Clay cannot wait to play. I picked up his soccer jersey on Saturday. As soon as I got home, Clay put it on and wore it all dau. He put it on again after we got home from church on Sunday. He wanted to wear it to his first day of school today - but I was washing it! Needless to say, Clay is super excited about his new activity! Go Team Emerald!!

Clay started school today! He could hardly wait to put on his backpack! It is blue with his name embroidered on it; so He thinks it is so cool! When I dropped him off, I really expected him to cry a little. But, he saw a couple of his friends and off he went! He didn't even kiss me good-bye!! I was a bit sad about that, but very happy for Him at the same time. When I picked him up, I could tell He had a great day! I am very excited about all he will learn this year. Caleb sure missed him though. I missed Him too, but I knew this will be a great experience for him.

It should be an exciting Fall!!

God Bless and Happy New School Year!
