Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Waterville USA

Waterville USA Children's Park
What an awesome slide!
I am loving this!
Clay, Don, and Laura - making cookies!
Annual Monopoly Crew

We had so much fun with the boys today. We took them to one of my favorite places when I was much younger - Waterville USA. They have the most amazing waterpark. Clay and Caleb LOVED it!! They were all smiles. Richard and I really had fun with them.

Soon after we got home, my Dad arrived. I am so glad he is here. My boys just love their BaBa Phil. Dad makes the best sand creations. I cannot wait to post his works of art!

Clay had been waiting all day to make cookies with his Aunt Laura. He had so much fun. Laura is so good to my boys. Clay helped stir the butter and scoop the dough. He loved it! It was a sweet activity to watch.

The day is drawing to a close for me, but not for the Monopoly Crew. Each year, several of my family members gather together for a very serious game of Monopoly. They play until late into the night - until there is an official winner and everyone else is broke. I am not cut throat enough to play, but I love the competitive nature of my family and the excitement it brings.

God Bless!
