Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Happy Easter!

On our way to hunt some eggs!

Oh, I see one!!

Yippee!! I got one!

It was a wonderful Easter Sunday. We really enjoyed our Easter Sunday service where Pastor Junior Hill preached. It was such a blessing to see many, many people saved yesterday. It was wonderful to see many young boys come forward. It just brought tears to my eyes thinking that hopefully, someday soon, my boys will walk that aisle too.

We then headed over to Mrs. Kay Naylor's (Kristy's Aunts home) for a wonderful meal and Easter egg hunt. We really appreciate Kristy's family including our family in their festivities. We all had a great time. The boys just loved the hunt - the weather didn't matter to them at all!!

Our next stop was an Easter egg hunt at Mrs. Sharon Burks' church (Sharon is Richard's Office Administrator). We had another great time. I was super excited because they played a game of indoor softball and I got to see Clay hit his first Ball into the field - the first ball he had ever been thrown!! He was so excited!!

We finally made our way home. The boys had a great day and I loved the time of fellowship.

We are so truly blessed that God gave his son up for us and most importantly rose Him from the dead so that we, those who put their faith in Him, can live eternity in heaven.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter.

The Lord has Risen!! (Luke 24:34) He has Risen Indeed!!
