Clay and Caleb had so much fun dyeing Easter eggs for the very first time tonight. They loved dropping the eggs into the dye. Although the directions called for one egg at a time in each cup, the boys thought that it made much more sense to put two eggs into the cup!! Oh, well, what's a little green dye on the counter anyway :)Unfortunately, Caleb thought the cup of dye could be consumed (after all, it is liquid in a cup). Fortunately, I was able to prevent such drinking by repeated removal of his hands from the cup and a firm, yet loud "No, Don't Drink That!"
It was an eventful egg dyeing experience and the boys really seemed to enjoy it! I also loved it and the memories it brought back to me from when I was much younger. I always loved dyeing Easter Eggs with my brothers and my Dad. Don't you just love remembering the good times from your youth!
