Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Happy Mother's Day Momma!

"Happy Mother's Day Momma!"
Clay woke me up today with his beautiful grin and this beautiful greeting!
Me and my boys outside of church today!

Look at all that loot :) Binns boys did too much for me today!

Caleb is King of the Rock!
All I can say is WOW! What a view!

Clay and Daddy played football at the Splash Park!

Let me start by wishing all of you precious mammas a very Happy Mother's Day! I hope today was as special for you as it was for me! I could not feel more loved or more blessed!

Psalm 107:1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good for his steadfast love endures forever!

My boys could not wait to give me the presents they had made and purchased for me with their very own monnies (as they call it :). They also wrapped them all by themselves in their choice-Starwars wrapping paper! AWESOME!

They first gave me my favorite gift, handmade cards. Thank you Richard for taking them to Taco Bell and for using that time to decorate three precious cards that I will always treasure :) Richard told me that when Caleb drew the heart on his card he told him that he drew it because he knew it would make mommy happy. Isn't that precious? I love my boys so much!

Richard also asked them to bring their piggy banks for a Walmart shopping trip where they each selected their own gift: Clay chose a candle lighter because he knows how much I like candles and Caleb chose a darling picture frame. I love it!! Richard gave me a wonderful basket of bath lotions and gels and several boxes of Keurig coffee! Yippee! My man sure knows what I like :) Thanks honey.

I got to plan our days activities which excited me tremendously! After church, we started our adventure at Mamma Fu's. Momma's eat free today :) We then went on a Nature Hike at the Crystal Bridges Trails. It was so breathtakingly beautiful. If you have not been, you MUST go! It is worth the drive if you live far away. It was like walking through the pages of a Fairytale. After our hike, we grabbed some $.79 cokes and surprised the boys with a trip to the Splash Park. They had a great time playing, and I loved watching them. It was such a wonderful afternoon.

I pray that each mother who reads this post knows how special they are to their families. I want to give a special thank you to my mother and grandmother for all they have done for me and meant to me. I love you Mom and Don!

Now, off to enjoy my mother's day gift to myself - a slice of triple berry pie from Village INN! Oh, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

God bless and Good night!
