Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Super Sunny Fun!

The boys - painting outside on the first beautiful day of 2011
We thought it only made sense to go ice Skating on Saturday -
after all it was only 65 degrees. That's my kind of ice skating :)
Richard took the boys to check out the Prairie Creek Fire Truck -
one of the perks of being a Volunteer Fireman!

We had such a great week last week. Saturday was my favorite. We spent the whole day together as a family. We started off with our usual breakfast at Old Tyme Donuts! Yummie!

We then headed to Phat Tire Bike Shop (phattirebicycles.com). Where I had so much fun trying out new bikes. I even got to take them about the square. This is such a cool store! I was so happy when Richard surprised me with a new Bike. A copper colored Trek mountain bike. It is so cool. I even rode it home. My legs still hurt. I will post a photo soon, but it is just too cold outside to take a photo.

After our fun at the Bike shop, we headed over to the new Bentonville Ice Skating Rink. It was the perfect day to skate. It was the boys first time on the ice and they had a great time. Richard was so good with them. He helped them on the ice, while I sat by the rink and took photo's. So fun.

We then ran home to change the boys wet clothes and then headed to our new favorite place to eat - Flying Burrito. Love their cheese dip. It was then off to Richard's office. He had to do a little bit of work, and then we headed over to the Fire Dept. Richard scared me to death with the horn!

We spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning out the garage and letting the boys play outside. They had a blast and Richard and I made great progress on our once super messy garage. My car door no longer hits one of the many objects it used to every time I opened it and now I can actually open the passenger door. So exciting!

It was a wonderful day!
