Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

My New Shoes!

The boys got new back to school shoes today! Talk about excited!! They couldn't wait to show them off to everyone back at the house. Clay is certain his new shoes will make him super fast :)

Ok, I know I look awful first thing in the morning, but it is such a treat to spend the mornings with this special lady.
Laura and Baby Luke enjoying the outdoors
Yum - we love cheese dip :)
The annual family Monopoly game.
We have been playing once a year for about 20 years.
DT was this years winner! I came in dead last.
Mommy, it is cold in this water. After a while, he got use to the water and had a great swim. Don't you love this water carrier!

I have just had such a great time on my vacation. I love seeing my extended family. I have especially enjoyed watching Clay and Caleb interact with their cousin Luke. They are just so crazy about him. Caleb just pets his little head all the time. I pray they will always be close. I love that they have three boy cousins (Byron, Cater and Luke). I hope we can get them all together someday.

It is late and I am very tired. It is tough reading, eating, and relaxing all day :)

God Bless!
