Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Eight Miles is Enough!

Bah Bah Zack and Clay - resting after their eight mile ride!
Dad made it 16 miles!

Our vacation started off in Little Rock with Richard, his Dad, and Clay riding the River Front Trail. I am so proud of all of them and grateful Caleb and I got to skip the ride and hang out drinking coffee and hot chocolate at Chick-fil-A. I am more of a 5 mile rider myself :)

I love that Clay is really getting into biking. Exercise is so important and I also love that it is something Clay and Richard do together. It was a treat that Richard's Dad could go along this time (not so sure Zack was as excited though :) He was a trooper.

Richard has been riding daily while on vacation. He is really enjoying it. Our ideas on vacation fun are a bit different. My goal is to get a suntan and complete a couple of books, three if I am lucky. Richard's goal is to ride 20 miles a day. Hmmm, I wonder who will gain the most vacation weight?

Well, the water is much more clear today. No oil waves. But still a double red flag day. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

God Bless,
Berkli
