Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Play Date with the Anderson's

My pal Judd
Future musicians
Funny Faces
Super Hero's for a Day

They boys had so much fun with Judd and Brody last Thursday. Caleb came in to get me up because his friends were coming over. He couldn't wait. When the doorbell rang, he ran to the door. Clay was a little calmer, but he was happy too.

They watched movies, ate popcorn, did a little coloring, played a little indoor golf and played Super Hero's - all this in under three hours. It was a blast watching them. They were definitely entertaining. I was most surprised that no wrestling took place. A few golf clubs were raised but that was the extent of it. Nothing got broken - with four boys that is pretty impressive. They are all great kiddos.

I especially loved Judd's Bumble Bee/Spider Man costume. Brody also had the funniest faces. I am so glad Rachel let them come over and play. They are so funny.

Friends even at these young ages are such a blessing for my boys.

Good night!
