Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Surfer Clay and Bucketbath Bubba

Dude - those waves were wicked!
Who needs a bathtub!

My sister-in-law Laura took these shots and I just thought they were too cute.

We could hardly keep Clay out of the water this trip. He loved riding the waves whenever we would give him the go ahead. I could not believe how comfortable he was in the water. He has no fear sometimes. Very scary for a Mom!

Caleb loves to take off all his clothes and wash them out after each swim. Today, however, he decided to wash himself in this little bucket. Isn't he too cute!! I love it!! It makes me want to get a bucket at home just because he enjoyed it so much. It really doesn't take much to make a child smile. Such a sweet and funny memory I will have.

It was a great day!
I am falling asleep as I right this, so good night and God Bless.
