Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

No Brotherly Love Today

Where did those friendly handholding brothers go?

It has been quite a day.

Let's see. First, Clay put Caleb in Jail (a box with a lid on it.) Caleb was not a big fan. Then, the boys were playing outside. Caleb was riding in the back on Clay's motor truck and I heard Caleb crying. Caleb had fallen out, but Clay did not see the need to go back for him. Again, Caleb was not too happy. A little while later, I saw Caleb running around the house with his hands on his ears. Clay had a toy drill in his hands and was going to "look in" Caleb's ears. I think my boys have spent too much time at the ENT office.

As if the ear checking wasn't enough. Clay got out more tools and when I asked him what he was doing, he told me there was a baby in Caleb's belly. I guess Clay was going to take it out. With two sister-in-laws about six months pregnant, babies are on Clay's mind.

Needless to day, it has been an interesting day. If you can believe it, the day started out so well. Clay was being so sweet to Caleb. What happened!! Poor Caleb, he needs some TLC!! Got to run now!!
