Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Back to School Shoes

It took the boys to get their back to school shoes the other day. Oh, what an experience. Clay would decide on a pair he liked, so Caleb would pick out the same pair, and try them on. We would finally get the correct sizes and then Clay would change his mind and choose another pair. Caleb would then say, "I don't like my shoes" and reach for the exact same new shoe Clay was trying on. We had shoes, of all sizes everywhere. I think the Wal-mart staff was happy when Clay finally decided on a pair. I tried to put everything back together, but I know we left things a little less organized than when we got there.

As you can see, we left Wal-mart with two pairs of the the exact same shoe just in different sized. Caleb wanted to be just like Clay. So funny!!

As you can also see, Clay is wearing his shoes in this photo and Caleb has taken his off. Clay just loves to wear his new "fast" shoes. It is so cute. He hardly takes them off. Caleb is not much of a shoe wearer unless he has to wear them. Caleb is different from Clay in at least that way :)

Good luck with your back to school shopping!! :)
