Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Surgery can't keep me down!

After a long Nap, Caleb was back in action!

Clay was kicking back and having fun!

Huge Praise for Caleb - His Tube/Adenoid Surgery went great today! Thank you Lord. He was a little fussy immediately following the procedure, but he bounced back quickly.

Our day started really early. Caleb and I arrived at the Clinic at 6:50am while Richard took Clay to my saint of a friend, Sarah Vizena. Thank you Sarah for watching Clay!!

Caleb got checked in and was not happy about the gown he had to wear! Even a 2 1/2 year old can see how unflattering :) they are and uncomfortable. But, he got used to it.

Dr. Lee and the Medical Staff and Mercy Medical Clinic were great! They were so helpful and kind. We really appreciated it. The surgery went fast and we were out of there with our not so happy child (Waking up after being put to sleep was not fun for Caleb) by 9am.

The boys and I pretty much chilled most of the morning and then we had a fun and active afternoon. We played games, had some school time, watched some TV and played outside. It was a wonderful day!! Truly, it was one of those days that I dream about having. I saw God at work today. I needed a stress free day and He gave it to me!

Well, I guess I should call it a day.

Good night!
