Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Day 1 - We made it!

Vicksburg, MS

Just takeing a seat on a Cannon!!

After many hours on the road, I decided to create a new hat!

My Mom and Don - we made it!! Let's eat!

Clay couldn't wait!! Dad had to take him for an evening swim!!

My, am I tired. It was a long day of driving, but we made it to the beach. The boys started asking about every five seconds (no kidding) - are we in Alabama yet!! We were in Mississippi way to long for them.

We are already having fun. We had a great meal at Bahama Bobs on West Beach. I definitely recommend it. Then, the boys took a quick swim in the ocean. Clay was all smiles. Caleb was not as excited. Clay wanted to know if we could go ahead and make a sand castle. It was getting dark, so we had to table that until tomorrow. I love how happy he is.

The Gulf breeze is amazing!! I am not missing the hottest day in Arkansas at all.

Good night and God Bless.
