Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Playhouse dining is the Best!

Today has been alot of fun. It was "Mommy Day," as Clay calls it, which means a day where we do not go to school or to Bible Study. It also means, PANCAKES!! Yummy!

We got off to a relaxing, unrushed start. We ate our breakfast and then went to Dave Peel Park. I had such a great time visiting with Amanda Vestal and Crystal Gill. The boys had a blast swinging, climbing, and sliding. Important Note: The boys were so good - no hitting, fighting or biting! Praise the Lord!

We then headed off to Target (not really on the "Mommy Day" list), and the boys were less than thrilled. I however, enjoyed it. It was my first trip to the new Rogers Target!! How happy am I.

My favorite part of the day I think was lunch. We grabbed food off the $1.00 menu at Burger King and then headed home. The boys and I climbed up the ladder to the Playhouse and just had a great time eating outside. I think food just taste better when you eat it picnic style. Clay was happy to show me the many spider webs that are collecting up there :) Yikes! Luckily, Clay is not afraid of them and doesn't mind "taking care of them" for me!

I hope you are able to enjoy the nice "rain free" weather before it begins again.

God Bless You!
