Back in the Yard

Its 2015! Time to write a few blog posts. Since I wrote like 4 post in 2014, I am going to make a goal of 5 post in 2015. I don't want to set my standards too high! ha!

I look forward to sharing my current journey with you.

They Make Me Smile

  • Here, I will list recent examples of how my children make me smile. Kids are so funny! My hope is that it will encourage you to keep a record of those special moments in your children's lives that bring joy to your life. Those moments that when you look back on, you can't help but smile.
  • 3/26/2014 (Caleb) At dinner we asked the boys to name three words that describe them. Caleb responded, "Caleb. Caleb. Caleb." Well, you can't get much more descriptive than that :)

Remembering Old Friends

This tiny photo is of a group of ladies who mean the WORLD to me!! I wish I could make this picture bigger so you could see them better. I was so excited when someone tagged me in this photo from a face book page. I hadn't seen this picture in years, about 7 years actually. And, even sadder, I haven't seen most of these ladies in almost as long due to my husband and I moving to Arkansas about six months after we were married.

This photo was taken at my Engagement party :) Each of these girls has impacted my life in a very special way and I miss them dearly. I was blessed to be in a Small Group Bible study together with these ladies when I lived in Dallas, TX. Kim, Jen M., Kristin, Jenn T., Carolena, and Amanda (and those not in this photo - Charlotte, Gaylynn, Jill and Andrea): I cannot thank you enough for being faithful in attending our study and for always being so encouraging to me. Having many of you at my wedding in Paragould, AR was so special. I think of you ladies often and this picture makes my day!!

I want to encourage anyone reading this to take time to reach out to old friends and thank God for friendships that have truly blessed your life!
